The first design of the site and all I can say is, doesn't it look great? To me anyway, it looks very professional, colourful (which draws people to the site) and appealing. I chose the colours very carefully, to make sure that it didn't look too busy or anything. I decided to have the blue around the banner, which makes it really stand out, and then used this blue between the page links at the top and at points throughout the site. The other colour I wanted to use which matched the blue well was red. And so I put various different things in this colour. It took me ages to work all the colours and fonts out, as well as finding the layout of what was going where. There probably isn't one thing I did not change. It had to look unique and charming in its own right. Every bit of text is clear to see, sidebar and posts. In the posts, I changed the date colour to green as the posts had to have some contrast with the rest of the site. So, there's the first design and I hope you like it, because I definitely do! Look out for colour changes in the future.
